Yesterday was a day filled with lectures and raindrops and peacocks and research, and I’m perfectly content with my Mondays looking that way for the foreseeable future. I sat in the library, overlooking the gardens at Corsham Court, and I was enthralled by nearly every book that I picked up. Oh, heritage.
I’m currently writing a critical review on the Blaise Castle House Museum, where you’ll find cottages like this one nearby! This charming Grade I listed cottage belongs to Blaise Hamlet; a tiny village of nine cottages built in 1810 — one of the first examples of a planned community. (You can find another one of the cottages that I’ve posted several photos back.) Well, back to the books I go! I hope everyone has had a lovely start to the week. The sun is finally peeking out from behind the clouds here today 🍃
