A questão é lidar com os sentimentos provenientes de todas as pessoas que atuam na unidade. Parece ser necessária aptidão para uma convivência entre Morte /Vida/Fragilidade/Onipotência/Impotência. É interessante perceber que a UTI é mantida pela comunhão dos objetivos (salvar vidas), solidariedade, existência de um adversário comum (a doença) e formação de equipe para combater o mal. Nesse ambiente fechado, a atuação da equipe caracteriza-se pelo suposto trabalho em conjunto. Freqüentemente ouve-se nessa unidade.: “todos são importantes”. A busca da melhora do paciente une os integrantes do setor. As desavenças ficam para depois, ou são “esquecidas”. Per eseguire compressioni toraciche di alta qualità durante la rianimazione cardio polmonare (RCP) occorre posizionare la vittima su una superficie rigida in posizione supina con torace scoperto, mentre l’operatore si posizionerà al lato di essa. Posizionare quindi il palmo di una mano al centro del torace della vittima sulla metà inferiore dello sterno, e il palmo dell’altra mano sopra la prima. Tenere quindi le braccia distese con le spalle all’altezza delle mani. Eseguire le compressioni toraciche premendo sullo sterno della vittima con una frequenza di 100-120/minuto con una profondità di almeno 5cm nell’adulto, al termine di ogni compressione è importante permettere che il torace si risollevi completamente per garantire il riempimento delle camere cardiache.
